Do u clowns have any idea of what u are getting into? All u have 2 do is follow the team ss race team around for 1 race... and u will find out what it takes 2 keep a mod boat running!!! Ha Ha ha.. oh and them try keeping three running and u will see a Great Time!!!

Well, anyone can get a look at the new FEH boat that hit the last race of the year on a test run... Posted @ teamssracing.com Yes it as front canards... Yes it has a rail rider front decks and Yes it has completely different sponsens... and Yes oh .. I guess I can't talk about the underside of the boat... nor its ridiculous light weight.... But I can tell u it will fly through the corners.. oh well, some day one of those guys with a pocket full of money in those big boats might wanna go fast... but with the new little guy coming into the family I think I will hang it....uhhmmm, ok, I quess there is some time to think about what we want to do... Or maybe there will be no FE's running this year. I WOULD GET A LOT MORE FISHING IN, YA GEORGE!! :-)

P.S. great job with the boats Mike! montana must be cold 2 get all that work done.. I can hardly get my driveway plowed with what little time I got! Missed u all at the awards!

thing can not be that bad my family if getting bigger this year also as of now it is 2 DMR 1 DSR and a my old DSH?DMH and a jds as a mod or stock for D . Love the strees and love going to Nationals . building 4 more Mod motor and redoing the tohatsu . You should see the list for Santa. Stop bye some time the two runnabout will be here in Feb. going to California and test end of Jan or first of Feb where the water is not so thick Merry Christmas

The nice thing about our Mods, C mods that is, is that they go out and come back EVERY time!!

progress is moving slow on the new boat, but we got help that is actually willing to learn new construction methods...

Jimmi, way to go. Get em started young. Love the picture of my all time favorite boat the 66 Bardahl. I even have a model of that boat at the hydroplane museum that I built when I raced with Roger Newton.

Just wanted to say thanks Dad cause thats how my love for Hydro racing began was with the r/c hydros and our trips to the Seafair races every year and hanging out around the pitts, watching you build them and of course working in the pitts at the r/c races.

Of course you really had me hooked when you made me my own r/c hydro that I could race under the Christmas tree the KYYX.

That was a fun sport and I love the memories I have from them but, I like these boats way better! lol

new to me

So i decided i was going to race Cmod next year and got offered a great deal on a boat and motor .

The motor is in pieces giving it a freshen up .

Boat is back after some light work lol , i needed to repair a couple things and cut some weight and am over the moon with what Drew T has been able to achieve i am no longer worried about weight and can not wait to start to paint my new sponsors colours and apply the decals .

Here's some progress pic's the green and yellow parts are original the wood and black are new .



So new deck and sponson top there were a couple of repairs in the old one on both sides and the cockpits sides had been skinned over from some one going through at some stage , now they are nice new light carbon .




The chine had been double skinned over the top of the original chine due to a big hole at some stage so it was cut down and replaced




And the transom was a huge piece of lumber twice as thick as i needed it for my mod mounting brackets , the new one is exactly what i was looking for and i saved so much weight there alone in wood and two thick alloy plates.

You know, Kurt is in the business of building top of the line Mod's now. He built a wonderful E last winter, I think you all know who that was for. He can build to any spec. and weight, if you are having trouble. Let me know! Worth talking about!

Yes still running it as a laydown Mike the transom is moved back for it .
