So you are getting Garlands. You should be in good shape. I think if they dont get rid of the mega phones we will lose more race sites. Glad yours is a quiet one
john c167 ,,, haaa guy if ya getting exhaust ,, im not sure that,, that exhaust is a pulse tune// ... or maybe just a exhaust,., might check with bensen,,,
Bert Henderson makes up the carbon panels that you see in the pictures as he needs them when building his inboards. Rob Stevenson is completing a kit from Bert. If you are still interested in getting a panel from him I can private message you his work number.
Hey Mikey call me 248-342-7120.. That looks like a 3 step repair to me .. Not just cutting in a pre made carbon panel will not give you the strength you need at the transom... My shop is nice and warm and lookin for a project..
Mike, you might be able to get away with just replacing the panel as long as you tape all your joints as well. Since that cockpit side doesn't see as much impact then you might get away with it.
If you want a thorough job then I would suggest cutting out a deck hatch and tape all the joints under the deck as well.
Unfortunately it looks like that cockpit side is made of 3/8" foam core which is quite a bit more expensive than the 1/4" foam core.
Again if you need any advice in the repair just pm me.
