Uncle Chris bought the boat from us a couple years back and ran one time at Grass Lake I think. Might be purchased or getting purchased by a pretty fast 20 and C driver from Michigan. He has had plenty of your dad's boats in the past, I was pretty bummed out when I heard he was thinking of buying it.

PS its pretty cool and should be in the hands of a Yamato lover
How about asking in late 2010 @ the Worlds?

It will sit next to the Kessler & Sun Drop empties in the Prop Riders (North) trailer for the ride home!

So you still have the bulge on the lower unit? Gimme a break.

There's not a class in Stock Outboard that doesn't require machining on the motor...aka...blueprinting if you want to win.

          That's old news.

              Yamatos

              Why I like Yamatos...

Cuz I saw Mike Mackey do a 360 in one about 3 feet off the water!

Cuz John Korbus can beach ride his and be out the next heat!

Cuz you can be fast in one without being a machinist!

Why I love Yamato? Cuz the 20+ year old 102 that has only been freshened a couple times in that span still runs like a rocket when we have the set up correct. Just change plugs, lower unit oil and go racing.... :-)

                  Yamato LIVES

                  I loved the Yamato when I was racing 20ssh & 20mod.Still
have three in the shop, 2-80's & 1-202.
Mercury tried to kill the class but it didn't work. Look
                  at the 25 class now.
And yes ED I'm doing Side W. lower units now if you
                  want one done.
