                Thanks, Lonnie

Thanks for taking the time to talk to me today. Dave and I are fraternity brothers. We got back to the mid '60's as friends. His brother, Phil, painted my helmet from that era.

I hope Dave comes around ok.

****, Ken, Hope you are doing OK, too! Maybe you shoud HAVE TAKEN THAT POLICE CHIEF OFFER.....YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN WORKING INSTEAD OF PLAYING!

ALMOST REMINDS ME OF THE TIME TED MAY HIT A BOUY AT bAKERFIELD IN HIS SCOTTI AND FRANK ZORKAN DID SOMETHING...wE HAD TWO 65 plus YEAR OLD RACERS IN THE HOSPITAL within 15 minutes of each other. Of course, in those days I didn't think 65 year old guys should be driving, but now that I'm 66....Who is going to tell the 6'5" guy not to drive a race boat?????

I was able to visit with both Dave and Kenn yesterday. Dave seemed fine, but was waiting on some answers from the Dr's. Kenn did not get much sleep, so he was real tired when I saw him. He was very optimistic about a full recovery.

More to follow, as I will be in Sacramento again tomorrow.
