And then back to Yamato testing and a few tweaks which resulted in improved performance. The design pumped well. One more tweak for Friday Lawrence testing then she may be ready! I am just a bit nervous as Sean has "History" on the back stretch

Looks like the water was really rough

Sean, the boat still needs some color. I bet Daren would add a little red.

        83 mph ?

Sounds like a good DMOD speed. Should be able to kick the Merc DSH's pretty easy with that speed.

I know a couple Merc DSH around here can see 85MPH in their rig, but not many. A decent DMH will run 82 - 85 MPH. A real screamer will run 86 - 88.

Yes, water conditions weren't ideal. We look forward to a little lumpiness at Lawrence.

Yes, beautiful day for CSH testing again. Fortunately we had two fishing boats out to break the glass. Good day

Saturday was a beautiful day. Unfortunately, about 40 fishermen & some ambitious wakeboarders thought the same thing. All we learned for the 305 was that the motor still runs and the boat still floats, and I need to tighten up the lower unit nut (worth it to catch that before Lawrence).
I must say though, it was nice to see a guy out on a real waterski for a change.

Two boats, two different days! Took the OSY out to make sure it float and ran, yet also found a MPH over the winter! Looks like the changes helped!

Hmm, 73.9mph, my truck barely goes that fast.

We went testing this past Saturday too. My team had wrotten luck. We cracked a propeller, luckily not a really good one and had a bearing seize on the lower crank journal in our 102 while testing the hydro.

Oh well, it's already off to TJ for some tlc.
