2010 NBRA Short Course Nationals/Series Event in Pineville,LA ROLL CALL!!!
How did we get two big MOD races at the same time ,just one state from each other. Anybody remember NOA when AMPRO /MOD was all one Div. It should still be that way today. This could have been two great races if they were on diff. dates.

Agreed. But the NBRA date was set before the APBA date if I'm not mistaken. This weekend is also the only weekend available during this time for the race. Although I must admit. I don't really think many more people would be making this race even if it were on a different date. Give or take about 2 trailers. But a bunch of us mainly NBRA racers were planning on making the haul over to Alabama... Maybe another year I guess. Next year I'm sure race dates will be paid a little more attention to.
I've actually been in the water with gators in our back yard and they don't seem to be interested in me at all mr. jeff. Haha. What day you plan on pulling in? I have a interview with the towntalk tomorrow at 2pm. Gonna give them some info and stuff about the race. I'm going to try very hard to get them to come out and talk to the drivers throughout the pits this week and weekend. Would be nice if we could make the front page of the paper. Gotta think big!! Haha.
Allways think BIG , John we will pull in thursday noonish, i know I am not good gator bait cause I am to full of crap, and I dont believe that gators like crap lol

Somebody's girlfriend's Chi-wow-wa makes great Gator bait. It's really easy to cast 'em from the bank, & they have really good action in the water when you troll em behind a pick up boat.
Haha. Well we rode out to the lake today to just check it out. And to our suprize one trailer was already there. BURNIN' VERNON!! We are bringing out our stuff tomorrow.
Speakin of Gators at a boat race
in 1989 at Port Arthur Texas (Texas nationals ) for that year in AOF we had a Gator crossin the start finish line while we were all in the drivers meeting
some 1 noticed him as he crossed the start finish line , another said he was a legal D hydro so we had to race with him later on that day ,if memory servers me correctly at some point in 1 of the 4- D Hydro heats he was hit and removed the prop and lower unit right off the tower housing, and I sure felt sorry for the fella that hit it .. sad but true Story
hope ta see ya:ll this summer at some NBRA races close to me that is Gl & HF
Randy Aveline 23-H
P.S. Wishin i was at Pineville this weekend or at any race for that matter any way
