Also spent a good bit of the day emailing the local papers and news channels about the race. So hopefully we can get the media out there and be a little
more into it than usual. Maybe we can get them to take a camera around the pits and talk to some of the drivers and stuff. Hmm ideas ideas ideas. Haha.John Mathews @ Mathews Racing L-390

Pierre - Buhlow's Gator
We hear that there will be lots of people here at this race. Some of the spectators don't even live on land, they live in the water. Pierre is Lake Buhlow's mascot! Sometimes he can be seen at the races, but many times he is hiding because he is scared of the noisy boats. But, this is his lake and he is always here somewhere. So, keep your boat upright and if you do happen to hit the water, don't for get to tell Pierre hello!!Attached FilesShane Hebert

Alan, I've known Pierre for over 20 years. Pierre only goes after the first place boat. Stay as far back as you can. Pass this information along to our fellow competitors. Thanks!!
P.S. Pierre wants to know if you can bring some raccoons down here with you, they're getting kind of scarce over here.Last edited by Shebert; 04-10-2010, 07:15 PM.Shane Hebert

Poor guy
Poor Aligator my arse ! You want to see a Yankee walk on water.... loose that reptile while I am in the water. Pierre LaChomp better hope I am unarmed.
But with a French name... I don't have to worry. I know where one can buy a gun, never fired, only dropped once....Dave Mason

Severe penalties may ensue... and French or not, you probably still qualify as being a Yankee... which does not trump being Cajun. (Just ask Dan Parker)
Yo in Lousiana now boy.

Haha, everyone should just admit people started wearing Kevlar, not for protection against props and fins... But because of the gators in pineville. Haha.John Mathews @ Mathews Racing L-390
