I'm just hoping me and Dad can get our medical troubles behind us by then. That way I can race every class. Haha. And I literally mean every class. Give or take one or two. Haha. If your gonna do it. Might as well do it big.

Let's get a roll call going. Send your name and what classes you anticipate running. Would be nice to see all classes run. Whether it's for a championship or not. We should have 2 A Runabouts there... Just have to find a third one. Anyone with a smaller runabout and Y80 or hot rod wanna come play?

John Mathews: AR, AH, CSH, BR, BH, M25H, CMH, DH, EH... Maybe the big runabouts too. Maybe SE? We will see. Might even run the ole stock 102 in C Runabout for some fun.

I hope the "preacher man" does well. He brings a special level of class to our sport. It'll be good to see him. Jack

We talked with him today. He is chomping at the bit to get out there already. Anyone who has been around him, knows his excitement. He is ready for this one guys. Should be a good time. I think we are gonna put him in a few more classes as well. He should get his fair share of racing in.

I gotta meet this 'preacherman'. Sounds like he has made quite an impression on some folks.

Racing events have vendors, such as concession stands, that rely on spectators. The longer the spectators are at the event, the more money the vendors will make. The Super E Hydro is the fastest class at our event. Anticipation grows when you know the fastest class is coming up. This is typical of any form of racing that I have experienced. 120's come before Champ Boats, Sprint Boats come before Unlimiteds, Bush Cars come before Cup Cars, Pro Mod comes before Top Fuel, 125 Bikes come before 250's. Do you think that's all a coinsidence? I built this schedule, and I have heard this argument with my SEH buddies, but this is the way I see it. I have been called hard headed, but I think they're wrong. I realize we race on a smaller scale than these sports, but the guys that are selling hamburgers and hotdogs don't see it that way. Don't get me wrong, I have the urge to get home as soon as I can, but I don't like to see race teams dodging spectators trying to get home. My thoughts, take them or leave them.

                                Days Inn - Pineville

For those of you who have tried to get a room at the Days Inn in Pineville for $50, I am sorry. We had a huge misunderstanding. Today I spoke with Dianne at the Days Inn and she is giving us a rate of $65. She is willing to match Ramada's rate. Again, I am very sorry for this misunderstanding. See y'all in a few days!!!
