  • Hi,

where can we get some 3 mil okume (spelling?) plywood to repair a flip we had at lake mayfield near mossyrock, washington? We live in yakima, washington and need to repair a 6 and a half foot rip in our side. Ron ran this boat for the first time and was going over 60 mph at the time. Several bruises and hurt pride!

I have a sheet I could sell you. Sean Byrne knows the way here. Or you could order some from Noahs in Toronto. They have a nice web site. Its Okoume 3mm. Are you sure it is 3mm and not 1/8? I have 3 mm and 5 mm but you can get 1/8 in Spokane

Looks good. Jimmy will have a blast running this, most fun I had in a race boat in a while was when I got in my first flat turner. It is just like driving a hydro, except when they air out they air out fast. Gotta be a moving person in those things !

Are you guys going to run both 750 and 850 on it ?

You are going to need a bigger trailer to haul all that stuff ! Good luck at the races this year, will miss running the runabout with little Jimmy.

It's all done (in my head & on paper). Remember my last boat took 14 years...

LOL! Some of the yellow will be covered with natural wood shortly. But, it should still look pretty good.

                            • Mike,
The Phillips built MJR will re-debut itself this weekend. I finally fixed my Lawrence transom issue which caused Sean another funky ride. Sean will run it in CMod and JMK will run it in CSH maybe even 20SSH. Stay tuned for testing results. Thanks for doing a nice job on the boat.
