    everything has a price?

I guess if someone offered me 5000.00 for our best 20 wheel I would considor it. But as hard as they are to get...might not let it go. But hey, I could afford a Sidewinder then. Any takers?

I know I offered Mike Pavlick huge money for the 225-V boat and he said no. Maybe I should have gone to 6000.00....HmMMMMMM

      Bluesky,

Every member in every region is notified of where/when the Region meetings are held.

If someone is unaware of that...it is their own fault.

Same is true for knowing who the region representatives are.

I'm not trying to single out any one person. Fact is, most members are disinterested in the entire process. Until, that is, something affects them directly. Then they scream bloody murder and wonder "when did all this happen? Why wasn't I aware of this?"

Bottom line. Anyone can get involved and help make changes. The vast majority need to get off their a** and do something about it.

        Stock car racing anyone?

Stock means 'the same' to me. Everyone has the same motor, etc. Except boat racing is different. Props are different no matter how you manufactur them. So it's a way to gain an advantage over your competition. We have different motors to use in some stock classes, but i think of this as Chevy vs. Ford. Or toyota.
Stock car racing doesn't mean the motors are straight from the manufacturer with 200 hsp. They are modified engines to certain dimensions to go well into the 900 hsp range. But all motors have to have the same dimensions, or not exceed certian ones. That seems to be what 'American' stock means. Over in Europe they run OSY with motors straight from japan. same gear case and everything. Can't do anything to the motors. It's all props. But i like our Stock version. It gives us room to gain some advantage on our competition. And that's what its all about!
