Boats, not like last year. We were the only one with a 750 Mod Runabout that showed up. Was able to test on Friday which helped us. Three Rivers let us run with the C mod's but not to be scored. Again this helped with testing. By doing this we will now go to the mod Nationals as we learned a lot more. Thanks to TRORA for putting on a great event, great place, great water, etc, etc.... Bob and Don Rusnak

Sorry fellows, if you didn't attend, you're s--t out of luck! Having to work, low on funds, doesn't mean diddly obviously, from someone who enjoys these races anyhow!

                          Franklin

TRORA was glad to see so many familiar faces and a few new faces for the kick off of our 2009 season. The weather was perfect and the racing was great. Heck, even the water was pretty warm. We should have results posted by the end of the week.

Thanks to everyone who came and helped make this event as great as it was. As with every club and race site, we will review what worked well and what didn't work as well as we had hoped and will continue to work towards making Franklin one of the best races of the year.

The only complaint I have is the $2.00 root beer floats, available 50 feet from our trailer. Mmm.... root beer.....
                            Thanks TRORA.

                              Ian,

The highlight of my weekend was seeing your daughter's smile when I handed her a 3rd place trophy. First of her career, yes?

Let's hope its a good, long career.

By the way, she did an excellent job of flagging for me on the judge's stand. Great kid...I know you are proud.
