Thanks for sharing the info John, I'm currently using a finger throttle bolted to one of the spokes of my steering wheel. I went this route after a season of not being able to pull my FEH out of a turn at full throttle( I just couldn't get the leverage i needed to do it properly and with total control.
My set up took some getting used to but "I really like it now (with both hands on the wheel) "93-C

Jeff next time you make laps just take notice how much you need to turn the wheel with the drum size you have now. You want the bars to not go much past 1/4 turn. You also maybe limited on the width of the bars with your boat. Remember that with the leverage you have you can run a big drum.John Sherlock

Yeah I can do that, I'll try and take some photos tonight. I got my throttle from Lee Tietze.
I'll try and explain what I did in more detail when I get the photos posted.
P.S. Hope you got the info from Jon about the exhaust cone......Never heard back from him.93-C

As I said before I got the finger throttle from Lee Tietze ( he makes them for a jetski aftermarket company).
I then used a motorcycle cable to go from the finger throttle through the cockpit combing and then back to my Tietze hand throttle. I had to remove the handles from the original hand throttle and do some machining of my own. I made the handle that you see on the left so that both cables could attach, and I also had to make an anchor pocket for the new cable. I left about 2" of handle sticking up just incase something were to go wrong with the finger set up,so I could "maybe" still have some throttle control.
It took about three heats of racing to be comfortable with the set up, but now I don't even think about it.. I love the added control it gives me.93-C
