  • D lower shims

Hey guys i just got a D lower that need some work.
I need some shims and a rear cone nut.
I got some shims from someone years ago for a C but cant remember who?
Also as usual someone has cut the skeg.
Would like to know how long the trailing edge and wide at the bottom.
    Thanks Dale!

Here's a spec sheet on the skeg and the correction to the crankcase you were asking about on another forum, while all the answers you got there were technically correct, a good machinist can over come the problems.

      Cone

Here's a link to some cones:

Maybe you have an old short skeg gearcase. Some of the really old ones came from the factory with a short skeg. Mk 40H I think.

      Hope this helps.

Thanks for the imfo on the skeg and on the intake specs. I hope to find a mark 58 or early 500 but if not will be doing some grinding.
