Dan---Thanks for all the hard work to put on a first class race. Also thanks to Butch, the Middaugh's, and Jeff and Patsy Ruth for all the hard work. Sorry I did not help more, but running 7 classes got the best of me (trying to help the entry count). I have been all over the country racing and OBRA has first class equipment to put on a race (after a little tweaking on the pick up boat motor). Look forward to next year at Ponca.

Rick, you're quite welcome...and yes, you did help the entry count!

I'm glad I at least got a lap or lap and a half in before we tried to rub gunnels!

If profanity would fix a pickup boat, ours would be in fine shape this morning!

I fixed it for you Rick. I know that's what you meant to say.

I haven't been as many places as Rick, but the OBRA does put on first class races. I used to plan my vacation time around "The Nationals" and OBRA races.

The ODA also puts on very good races. I haven't been to as many of those because of the distance. Every one that I've raced at has been a good one though.

          Many Thanks

I would too like to thank Dan and OBRA for all the hard work. I think Burt did a great job as ref. When I first heard he was going to do that I wasen't sure how that was going to go. Burt ran a great meeting and still had fun with it. Thanks again Burt.

I would also like to thank Bryan Tharp for helping get a boat and diver to look for our unit. Dad stayed today and they looked for about 4 hours but did not find it.

A big thanks to Dan, OBRA and the officials for a great job well done, we had fun both on and off the water. Burt your a class act in my book, you did an outstanding job as the big chief even with that orange hat on.

Top Notch Race!!! I had fun, the whole Mathews Racing team had a enjoyable time. It was good to be back racing with all you top guys again. Along with Mr. Rick Miller, I hope we helped the entry count aswell. We tried the new Mod. Y80 and was quite surprized at how well it actually ran. Thanks to everyone who helped put this event on. And thanks to the Ponca City spectators. They really enjoyed themselves and were very eager to know as much about our boats as possible. We had people walking by and talking with us all day long before/ during/ and after the races. Awesome race guys.

P.S. Russo has one of the fastest CSH rigs i have seen in ages. It was nice to meet you, and I wish you better luck next time. You had the class covered easy. But i know how those kill switches seem to get in the way at times.

Maybe at the next nationals I can keep from knocking my kill switch off....out in front....running hard....move to the back of the boat coming out of the turn....knee the kill switch....engine dies....10 other boats fly by you....better luck next time!

Been there and done the same thing in that same boat. I seen some pictures of you running Rich. Looked like you have her Dialed in!

I should have an "L" on my CSH as well on my A runabout that I will be running next season. Looking forward to racing against your team again John- you folks have some sharp rigs! It was good to meet you as well.

                                12 Seh !!

Holy Cow, that is way more than they had in Whitney Point at the Mod Nat's. True actual FEH at Whitney were only a small handfull. SOme Tohatus DSH's stepped up to run as well as a few DMH's which are of course legal engines to run in SEH. But for true power we all know the OMC 3 holer is about the most cost effect and fastest way to go.

Sure wish I could have made it this year, sounds like I missed out on the real SEH Nat's ! I hear the Herbert crew has their SEH smoking fast and will need someone to compete against soon ! Ralph and I might need to do some serious homework this winter to compete against the best rigs in the country.
