I do not alot of results so far but I do know that a Tohatsu won the D Hydro class with Tony Anderson driving. E runabout was won by Jason Sumrall with Jim Homfeld in 2nd (driving my rig). They have had beautiful weather and will be finishing up today.

    Hey Everyone,

That Tohatsu is HOT and so is Tony Anderson L-4. He won D Runabout today too. I had to work the weekend and missed the races. I wish I had been there. Tony is doing a great job and I am proud of him. Thanks to Sid Bass and everyone that supports outboard racing. Thanks to the great Pit Crew too.

              NBRA Nats

Great pics, kinda weird seeing my boats on the water without me in them. Two other results I have heard so far are E Hydro Vernon Barfield 1st and C-Mod hydro Rick Miller 1st. Still wish I could have been there!!!!!!!!!!

                    Hey Doug,

I didn't take the pictures. Tony told me about the link. I missed the races. I had to work. They are good pictures. Have a good day!

                      Great Race!

I would like to thank everyone who had anything to do with putting on this race. The course was great, good water and great competition. Congratulations to all who won! Maybe at the next nationals I can keep from knocking my kill switch off....out in front....running hard....move to the back of the boat coming out of the turn....knee the kill switch....engine dies....10 other boats fly by you....better luck next time!

                          Great Time

Really had a great time at Ponca. After a rainy start Thurs morning the weather was really pleasant the rest of the time. Beautiful race site. good competition, what more could you ask for. Almost had a classic Sat. Burt Hoefs at 80 years young won the first heat of SEH did not back it up the 2nd heat. Got a bad start and finished 3rd. Lost to Brian Tharp who had a 1st & 2nd. Still showed that us old geezers still have some life. Great effort Burt!
A big thanks to the OBRA for a great time.

                            Thanks and T-Shirts

Thanks to all who came to Ponca to race... it was a great turnout in the pits and in the spectator area too...particularly Saturday.

Again, we've wowed the community with a positive event that is something they don't see many other places. I've already had several folks wanting to know dates for next year and offering to help organize and make the Lake Ponca a regular stop on NBRA's schedule.

Still gotta clear it with the two main sponsors to see where we stand for next year, but, from one who loves to see his fellow boat racers have a good time on good water.... Thanks, it all worked well.

Next time around we'll upgrade the accommodations and avoid some of the piddly little annoyances of a privately-owned hotel.

Pictures will be forthcoming from several areas.

Also, will be making another Nats T-shirt order so if anyone didn't get a T-shirt and wants one, let me know the size you need. They're $15 a pop up through XL and $20 above that.
