Not a racer but use to be, Here we go i cut a seadoo apart it's 8' long put a tramson on it, the engine is a 1986 25xd with open exhaust hustler pipe, stock lower unit 1.92:1 gears i think. running 92 jets compression is about 150psi. Any one else runs this pipe i think this one is a little short was wanting to compair lengths, so far top speed is 52.8mph but cant get it to stop bouncing weighting on tach to see what its turning up. Any input would be appreciated

Tucked all the way under is the worst it bounces then then hunts for witch way to go, as i trim up it gets better but still does not settle down, now that i made it over 50 going to start doing hull work, this thing only has a 6" wide pad that is flat for about 42". Going to make pad wider and sharpen lifting streaks on itAdam Verrett

Sound clip PLEASE! I wanna hear it...
I think the hook in the bottom should be taken out before you mess with the pad width and the strakes... It is my understanding that most all the PWC's have hook built in to keep the pump firmly planted on the water.

American U.s A.!!!
Is what it should read , i donn't care where the parts were manufactured.
I just want to say that's Balls , and it's about time ....
Maybe rules are the problem?????
At my age it doesn't but i'm sure someone cares.
I sure hope this continues,RULE, RULES who cares, anyways as Daren would say.

Good Idea!!
Leave it to that old Carpetbagger, i never thought of that as a river man , just knew i aLWAYS had the brake in my left hand. But David is as good as it gets in your area, as he doesn't only race, he's a reallist , at any rate keep us informed , cause some live on a diff. plane. Good read

this is an early one there is no hook in the bottom of this thing when it had the jet in it they had a problem with it porpising then nose dive to the left or right didnt matter how the rider was postioned. since i trimed it up have not had a problem with it hunting, so far top speed 52.8 love that i dont have rules just enjoy i think i get more looks now than with a hydro when i used to test it around here. boat is what i think is heavy 145lbs dry no steering going to try to lighting things up a bit. What is the best way to post videos on this forum?Adam Verrett

Totally *****en! I'm a big fan of safety and regs, but that ride looks freakin' awesome! Good luck getting it smoothed out. And you know, you can always come back to sanctioned racing. Take it from me, the 24 Year Slacker!Michael J. Mackey
