DSR Drivers

Ok, This has been a very busy spring for the Outlaw Racing Team for various reasons. I need to know soon who is planning to run DSR at Constatine, Augusta and Trenton. I have a very busy summer schedule that includes Motorcycle rally's. Some of which fall on these same dates.

Please let me know if you plan to run DSR at these races so I may plan accordingly.

An excellent question Gootz.

Of the three sites you noted, I plan to run DSR at Augusta only.
I wish I could do more, but right now it looks like that's the best I can do.

Ok... i want to hit both Constatine and Augusta, however these races are just before my exicution date. So, realisticly I'll only be making one. I think it will be Augusta because of the Marathon.

I fully intend on Trenton this year. I have a new boat that should be ready by then and I'll need some boat time before the Marathon Nationals.

I am also thinking of going to DePue this year. Even if they don't have stocks, i like running with those Mod guys.

Grass Lake and Big Rapids are always on my agenda.

And do i even have to mention Indian River?

Well based on the input this is how I plan to proceed.

Augusta (Marathon )
Trenton (If other DSR's will be there )
Top "O" (Of course )
Grass Lake (My backyard )
Big Rapids (Maybe. I never liked boat racin' in the Rain /Snow)

Gootz....I cannot really commit to any races right now, but I will try and be ready for Top O.....I just started a new job and Im playin catch up on old bills and stuff so that kinda limits what I can do versus what I want to do....I will keep my fellow dsr drivers posted as I am allowed to commit further. Im sure this doesnt help much, but I thought I would let you guys know the situation here......Rock on my DSR brothers.....Rock On!!!

We will have three to start. But, not to mislead, they'll be Classic DSRs, i.e. 55/58/500-Hs.

This has been a very busy spring for me. Besides preparing for my execution on June 28th, I’ve been traveling with my rugby team. We just played last weekend in Austin in our sweet 16… and next week we travel to Denver to play in the final 4. Hopefully we close out a national championship. Either way, my spring has been focused on these items. Our season will be done June 1st (win or lose)… which at that point my focus can get back onto racing. As much as I’d like to make it to Constantine, I just don’t think I’ll have the time to commit to Augusta, Constantine AND a wedding. Something has to go, and unless I can convince the executioner to postpone the wedding date, I’m afraid Constantine will be my sacrificial lamb.

Next year… no rugby (I’m retiring after this year), no wedding… just racing baby!

I'm no different than everyone else. I have to balance work, family, and budget. I reached an agreement with my wife about the number of race events I would "do" this summer. I've already gone "out of budget" to attend a boat show. And my plans for Augusta are above and beyond our agreement also.
I'd be at every race if I could do it. But, just like everyone else, It's not quite that easy.
Sorry, I cannot race DSR at Constantine.
