I need to start a thread on how to booby trap a snowmobile. Anyone got any ideas. Don't give me anything about putting stuff in the gas. I'm quite sure Kevin's immune from any impurities. Ed.

well you could loc-tite the variable pulley onto the shaft (use red)
you could remove the nuts off the ski runners if it is icy
or help him ajust his track so it stays centered better. hehe
or let him run the first day but make sure you stay up much later than he that night. spray some water inside the track on the driven idlers ,let freeze. repeat as necessary untill inside the track is a one big ice cube

You can just use your motorhome. If it was good enough for the slopes in Wakefield, it should be good enough for the rest of the UP.

Get a hold of my dad. He'll be going up sometime Thursday afternoon with the sleds to our cabin in Brimley. I'm not leaving Detroit until 9:00pm, so i won't be getting up there till like 3am. We're going to ride over to Mikey's in the morning and head up to Paradise from there. We have plenty of room in the cabin. You're welcome to stay there...

Grand marais is very small. We normally try to leave the gas station (I think the only one) at about 10 am but usually have some sort of delay. On thursday night the group is spread out staying all over the eastern up and then everyone usually stays at the north shore lodge on friday and saturday and we try to leave from that parking lot at about 10am
