good news, bad news...

good news first:
there is enough snow now. i was up this past weekend and the trails were great. we're not talking 3' of snow or anything, but the groomers really did well with the 18" they have.

bad news:
you DOO'ers are dumb. my stupid Rev ate a piston last weekend. that's twice now. i've never have had any engine problems like that with a polaris or cat. and it's not real fun getting in there to replace either...

On a lighter note, I wonder if Del would be willing to tow the Pater race trailer around our sled route so I can REALLY gas up. My snowmobile suit ironically resembles a haz-mat outfit. Either way, it's better for you all to get your digs in now... watching the F7's pull away out of sight will silence you soon enough.

Mike: I told you, I haven't ridden a sled since I was 8; that's before boat racing even started. I can't beat Kevin fair-and-square; I'll have to cheat.

I need to start a thread on how to booby trap a snowmobile. Anyone got any ideas. Don't give me anything about putting stuff in the gas. I'm quite sure Kevin's immune from any impurities. Ed.

With all of Kevins expert work on snowmobiles I think you could show up with a John Deere and ride that all weekend. Last year he broke on Day 2 with the F7 .
I'm bringing a ringer myself. I have a friend from work who has a 03 F7. I know it's STOCK as Stock can be. Honest
I'm glad to hear the snows good to ride on.

I may ride up from Alanson, Wends or Thurs. May need a place to stay, would like to ride Thurs but gotta get outa town on Wens. I stayed at the Hill top cabins last summer in Grand Marai if any one needs a place, they were nice and just across the bay from the Hotel.

will be at our cabin in Strongs Thursday afternoon and plan on riding and meeting gang on friday in Paridise, Bring it on. Or shoot straight to Grand Maries and ride with those who are arriving early Thursday.
