Who beat Who last year?
It's basketball season huh? I'm pretty sure the COUGS swept the fuskies in basketball last year and in football. And football will repeat this year (b-ball up in air). GO COUGS!
I love how all these jokes are universal for all colleges and rivalries:
A guy in a bar leans over to the guy next to him and says, "Wanna hear a Husky joke?"
The guy replies, "Well, before you tell that joke, you should know something. I am 6' tall, 200 lbs. and I am a Washington Graduate. The guy sitting next to me is 6'2", 225 lbs. and he is a Washington Graduate. The guy right next to him is 6'5", 250 lbs. and he is also a Washington Graduate. Now, you still wanna tell me that joke?"
The first guy says, "No, not if I'm going to have to explain it three times."Kyle Bahl

Enjoy it while you can.

Update...
This is no BS:
OH-IO Sate police issued bulletins to the Michigan press and radio stations warning fans traveling down to the game in Columbus this weekend about their safety. They recommend:
1. Caravan as much as possible.
2. Try to drive a car that does not have Michigan plates.
3. NEVER travel up or down High St.
4. Park as far off Campus (to the north and west) as possible.
5. Stay together in groups of 4 or more.
6. The less maize and blue the better.
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT S**T?!? i heard it on the radio this morning. i can't believe the POLICE know it's going to be out of control and admit they can't do anything about it. it's almost like they are saying it will be UM fan's fault if something happens. what crap... nice sportsmanship.
i can say i have experienced the cow-town crazies' unsportsmanlike conduct first hand. in 1995, osu was undefeated going into the UM game. i lived in dublin, oh and went down to tailgate with some honda folk. as they went to the game (on the shoe jumbotron), we went to the damon's to watch the game. we got so much harassment and s**t thrown at us that they didn't make us pay our bill. when we walked out, i'll admit we were a bit scared. as i walked up to my little honda crx (that had a little 2"x3" UM alumni sticker on the windshield)... the windshield was smashed in. when i called to report it, the police said they couldn't come and take a report until sunday.
great set-up you guys have goin' down there! i should also note, that was the year tim biakabutuka ran for 313 yards on osu's "nation leading" defense. it was a bittersweet victory for the BIG BLUE though thanks to your cow-town jagovs.
thankfully, i moved back home to ann arbor, mi... and watched my boyz win a national championship in 1997. i can still picture woodson's 1-hand grab interception in the 4th qtr that sealed the deal against osu...
4 out of the last 5 times osu was undefeated coming into this game, UM took the victory... so don't count your chickens just yet, farmers.
PS. start your own thread for that little D2 game out west... lol.Last edited by race4kaos; 11-15-2006, 07:58 AM.kladd-

My paint scheme is a tribute to these guys.

Poor sportsmanship does stink...
I cannot and do not condone poor sportsmanship, especially the sort that damages personal property or results in injury to anyone, especially a UM fan.
In fact, OSU fans really should reach out to UM fans. It's not your fault that you were born with such an affliction as to wear maize and blue.
By the way, did you know the University of Michigan football team was changing its name to the "Opossums"?
Because they play dead at home and get killed on the road.
OH-IO!

again, agreed...
osu is as landlocked, hayseed, BUCKwheat institution as it gets. (it helped in my decision to move back to MI from Columbus.)
but last i checked, MI has more rivers, lakes and shoreline than WA by far!!
maybe that contributes to our boats being faster...
lol... all in good fun.kladd-
