padded blocks

If you recall, I was busy at the '77 Nationals. I know you gave my father-in-law "Static" about my props...

I ran one CSH race in 1977, and turned over before I got to the first turn, I quit while I was behind.

As far as "Padded blocks", the only "Padded Block" I ever saw came from lon Stevens.

We really need to consult Charlie Srang and Edgar Rose on this...

Leigh Furnal build some amazing boats in his time! Furnal Flyers, where threir names...

They do exist & did. Brown, Piper & maybe Goodwin, & I'm sure others. Strang did admit to a number produced & shipped, but I don't recall that number.

Busted

I have a padded 30 cuber block in my collection and had another at one time.
It says Thunderbolt on the side instead of Turbo Four like the standard block.
So they do exist!
