              Good news...

Rock Van Buren, Region One's Publicist, will be away for the weekend and unable to attend the event. However, Lowell Hanson has agreed to come out of retirement and assume the Master of Ceremony duties. This should be fun as these guys are like night and day. See you there.....

Still time to call in a reservation ...alanaker@comcast.net

Lot's of surprise guests to be in attendance.

Aahh, I bet Rock Van Buren will show up at the CBF banquet???

Good luck to this Lowell Hanson guy, he has big shoes to fill.

I wonder if he is related to Andy?

                  Pool party ??

If you are at the Holiday Inn we will be gathering at the pool around 3:30 on Saturday. A good chance to unwind before the banquet.

                      Hey Matt
I don't think Clark will be making an appearance. I believe I saw shots of him in those videos about boat racing in Equador. He was the guy giving safe driving instructions to the drivers.

Paul Luippold has put together a great slideshow with over 1,100 photo's from this season.

Billy Allen is even going to stop testing early this afternoon to be on time.

See you tonite, don't be late.

                              You missed it....

Great night....the hall was packed with drivers, spouses and friends. Lot's of new and old faces. Food was great as Harriet once again put together a delicious meal. Paul Luippold's slideshow of the year in review was played throughout the evening.

Fantastic awards presentation second to none. It was rewarding to see so many new faces on the podium receiving their Hi Point awards. The Big winners were: Billy Allen, Mike "the younger" Schmidt, Terry Morse, Mike Cook and Manny Dias all hauling away several armful's of hardware.

At four years old, Kelsey Thompson attended her fifth Banquet while The Ancient Mariner of SSOA Bill Giles attended his 50th!!

Region One has now officially adopted the Brewsters and Chrisitne's photo's will be posted when they arrive home.
