    • A True Gentleman

I remember the first time that I met Pops. I was new to the hydroplane world and when he introduced himself he gave me a big bear hug and welcomed me to the crazy world of boat racing. Whenever I saw him after that he always had a big smile and hug for me. I never met a truer gentleman than Pops. He will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the whole Racecraft team! We love you guys!

      • Love and prayers to the Trolian Family

All of our memories from the last 35+ years are beautiful. Ponch has touched each of my family's lives with his love and concern. I cannot even begin to start with each individual unselfish act either Ponch or his loving family have done for us. We have been truly blessed to have had Ponch as part of our lives and our family. Everyone has been given a wonderful hero and role model through the life and examples that Ponch has given us. Our prayers and love are with each of the Trolian family.

        • I always admired that Ponch never hesitated to tell the people in his life that he loved them. He was such a genuine person. Things will not be the same without him.

My brother, Travis really took to Ponch. He stayed with him, and traveled to a few races one summer when we raced J. I remember one particular story from a couple of years ago that involved Travis having a few too many lemmies at Whitney Point. When a park ranger found him, ready to take him in, it was Ponch that talked things over with the ranger. He claimed that Travis was his kid, and that he would take care of everything. Ponch was also the one that calmed my dad down the next morning after hearing what happened. My dad still tells that story.
