I like driving like an idiot because I enjoy creating scenes like this.

Just south of Cleveland resembles Talledaga!

I work too hard to give my money to the policeman. Haven't had a ticket since 1985.
Mike is correct about so many people running red lights. Everyone please count to three before you take off from a red light.

Figure it is a mater of safety. The more time you spend on the road with the crazy drivers, the more likely they will hit you. I speed to spend the least amount of time on the road.

              Going to slow?

OK Charlie, did you know you can get arrested for going to slow?

Poor Steve just thought he would go to the Oyster bar on his riding lawnmower. The police officer thought different.(This is funny as h*ll)

I speed cause I want to, when I want to. Trouble is... if you're going 30 over the limit you are a felon if you're nailed. WTF!!! On a country road no less!! I remember in what you (most of you) refer to as "the old days" when me an my racin pal (Ron Meserve) had a 64 GTO hauling a double boat trailer and blowin the freaking doors off of a 64 Ford '390 fastback' coming out of the NH toll booths... tires on the GTO just-a-chirtelling.... right on up past the 110 mark, just to show the dude we were top dog. Yeah.... that's racing. Or the late nights out, after a day of boat racing, hitting the bars and doing the stop-light grand-prix's against puny Corvettes, or whatever showed up. ...NOW, it's radar-city. Except at the boat races, that is. Yeah... I've run my GSX1100R down at Loudon... but it's not the same as running my D hydro at a race site... or stealing my kids J boat for a run in AX.

So.... folks... if yer piddling coming out of the toll booths and I cave yer freakin doors in... sorry. Really... sorry.

I refuse to do the count to three thing!
I do on the other hand LOOK to see if someone is blowing the red light from either direction when the light turns green for me. I think this takes less than 3 seconds AND just plain makes more sense.

                      Running Red Lights

around this skewed part of the world, they have installed red light cameras. Since most of them have been put in, accidents at the lights have increased because everyone is afraid to get caught in sight of the camera when the light turns red.

As Bill said, and i most certainly agree!!! Of course I have learned my lesson now, in my old age, and don't do that sort of stuff anymore.

Last one was in 79, on the Alcan Highway in BC Canada. Got the ticket in April for 90km in a 60km, nice Mountie. He scribed the ticket had me sign and then told me that I was required to report to court the end of May. I looked at him and asked if I could pay the fine as I was on transfer to Alaska from Detroit, MI. All he said was that he could not do that but if I wanted I could wait for three days for the Magistrate to return from a vacation and pay him or come back in May for my court date.

What is wrong with this picture? I'll bet that I'm on BCs most wanted list for speeding tickets in the middle of nowhere. I can assure you that I didn't wait for 3 more days and I never set foot in the courtroom. You know how much a ticket from Kodiak, AK to nowhere BC was. $750 flight for a $35 ticket. Still have it in a frame!!
