I have a customer who brought me a Mark 75 direct reverse engine-I know all about these and the problem is.
1-he wants it fixed but of course does not want to pay anything to fix it (its a family airloom and oh how he wishis it to run again-no compression #1-its been welded once already)
2-I have no intention of fixing it for free so my question to someone is-is this engine of any value to collectors, it has the controls and all the parts are there and apears to be in good shape other than it does not run properly
I told him he may be better off finding someone who would want it as a colletors item and save himself the money of rebuidling it, at least my time to tear it down and tell him how much it will cost so he can say he does not want to pay that much to fix it.
Any sugestions anyone.
