I think it's a newly built church, plus it fronts Belle Terre Ave, instead of Pines Rd.

        Memorial Service Location Confirmation

OK - I talked to the Redeemer Lutheran Church Office Administrator at Dishman-Mica and University Street in Spokane a few minutes ago. The new church will hold Terry's memorial service at Redeemer instead of their site on Saturday (probably due to the expected number of people wishing to attend his memorial service.) Redeemer's address is 3606 So. Schafer Road, Spokane, WA 99026. The arrangements are also announced in the Spokesman Review. Mapquest the address above to get directions to the church.

Al is correct. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd, 2008, at 11:00 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3606 S. Schafer Rd, Spokane Valley, WA.

Those who desire may make contributions in Terry's name to AmericanWest Bank c/o Valley Financial Center, 9019 E. Appleway Blvd., Spokane Valley, WA, 99212.

The obituary is in Wednesday Spokesman-Review. It can also be viewed online at http://www.spokesmanreview.com/obits...&sdate=&edate=

            Contributions

The bank's name for contributions is really "AmericanWest Bank", not America West Bank (a Utah bank) as is printed in the SR obituary today for Terry. The Financial Center's telephone number is (509) 755-2265 or 1-800-772-5479 (Riverside HQ) if you have any questions about sending a contribution.

              Map to Lutheran Redeemer

Those people coming from I-90 should take the Argonne exit(Argonne will turn into Dishman/Mica Rd) south until they reach University/Schafer Rd(Turn Right). University turns into Schafer. People coming North on Hwy 27 should take a left on Dishman-Mica road a couple miles past the city of Mica. Those coming West on 32nd avenue should turn south(left) on University. Here's a close up map attached too.

I had the pleasure to call Terry a "Friend", not something I take lightly. Terry gave so much to life as we know it and no doubt will give so much to Heaven.

As Terry would have said it, "Buddy, this is unbelievable!"

We will not be able to attend the services tomorrow

We will not be able attend the memorial service for Terry, but our prayers are with his wife, Terri, and his family tomorrow and in the coming weeks. I feel a donation to Terry's Fund at AmericanWest is the best way we can help the family right now. If you decide to do the same, make your donation out to the "Terry Fiorelli Fund" and send it to the bank branch address provided above, "Attention: Julie". God bless.

I don't race, but I worked with Terry for 3 years. I just found out about his death, and I wanted to register here to pay my respects. He loved you people and if he checks in anywhere from the afterlife, it will be here.

                          Terry,

I told you you were nuts to race hydroplanes. Many people did, but you wouldn't listen. Stubborn to the last.

I want to thank you for all the lessons you taught me. You were the oddest mix of sheer strength and sensitivity of any man I've ever known. You told it like it was, but did so with a smile that made the truth easier to swallow. The only time you would accept 2nd place is if it meant one of your friends could be first. I'm proud that I could call you friend, and will miss you.

I still think you're nuts. But I know you were grinning ear to ear until those last moments and that will be your final lesson to me; Get out, live life, and hope that I go out grinning ear to ear.

                          Forever in your debt,

                          Ken

I know this reply is a bit late but I have been very busy as you all can imagine.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your support and taking the time to share your thoughts of my Terry. He was an inspirational and dear, dear man that is irreplaceable to me and to many others.

May you all share in knowing that he would want us all to march forward each day with great strength and enjoy life to the fullest.

                            God Bless you all.

                            Little Terri Fiorelli

P.S. Though I did not go to the races (they scare me, sorry) I was very supportive of Terry and his ventures. He did love racing.

Terry was a great guy and my best friend in the world. Life without him is tough and each day is a task to make the next one. However, he left many great memories for all who knew him and those we will always have.

God Bless and thank you for writing.

                                Little Terri
