  • In memory of Terry Fiorelli

now is the time to pray with us for one of Hydroplane Racers very own 'Good Guys'. Terry Fiorelli is at Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle receiving care and treatment for injuries sustained in an accident at Newport Wa. Saturday about 5:00 pm his boat 'Smoke On the Water' failed to negotiate turn 4 and clipped the shoreline. I do not know what his condition is listed as at this time but I have heard it is Serious if not Critical.

Dear heavenly Father, be with Terry, his family, friends, and those Hospital staff. We pray your will be done and ask for his full recovery of his injuries. Also, we pray for the spectator who suffered leg injuries. Lay your healing hands on both as only you can do. In this we humbly ask in Jesus name, Amen

    07-25-2008, 07:09 PM

We are sad to announce that Terry Fiorelli has died of injuries sustained in a racing accident at Oldtown Idaho on July 20th. He was 54. He had a long career in outboard racing and was highly respected by all who knew and raced with him. He was a tireless worker and generous in his support of racing. He was a past Commodore of the State Line Outboard Racing Association and was the clubs Race Director at the time of his death. Terry Fiorelli put more into racing than he took out. He is survived by his wife Terri, his mother and father, Don and Betty, and a younger sister Donna. Everyone in the AOF family extends their condolences to Terry's family and all who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed in the Sport.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do...even just come down to the hospital. Terry is/was a great friend while I lived in spokane and I am about 20 minutes north of Harborview. I spent many nights there with Howard so I know the area very well. Please don't hesitate to contact me! I leave Wed evening for DePue, but if there is anything needed in the next few days please let me know.

                      To Terry and his family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I have only known Terry for about 5 years and I can honestly say Terry is "One of the Good Guy's". He is always helpful towards his fellow racers even the ones he is racing against. So get better soon.
Dear Heavenly Father, Please watch over Terry and his family at this time. Help him heal so that he can enjoy his family and friends. We have faith in you in all you do.
I say these things in Jesus name Amen.

                            This is a Shocking Report

The Peffley family will be praying for Terry, his family, and the injured spectator. Thank you for telling us so that we may join all of you in prayer.

Such a tragic event to happen to such a great guy. The Newport race has been very tough on Terry with so many accidents in the past. Get well soon my racing friend - may God heal your body and the excellent medical staff at Harbor View help you recover in every way...
