Lil Update

Well, testing got started a little late today. But we've had one J Session, one General one and are just finishin up the Second J session. One more general session until 5pm with Driver's meeting at 6pm. Nothin real exciting goin on with the exception that Erik Kozuszek flipped his BSR. Of course this was not 30 seconds after I said 'Just be careful and DONT FLIP.' Other than that, lots of storytellin.

Ed you should have implimented a dollar penilty for everytime Eric flips. I think we talked about this at Constintine. You would have had all your beer paid for this season if you had done it. It's not to late to start. Make sure you put some foam in Eric's boat so you don't have to pay a diver to go get it off the bottom. Mikey

Wednsday's schedule

Stacey's got some photos of last nite's drivers meeting. Hopefully she'll put 'em up. Today the schedule is as follows: JH, 20SSH, ASH, BSR & AXSR. Elims in all of those. Racing starts at 10AM.

BTW: The BSR was not a typo: we have elims.

Tue Nite Report

215 entries. There was nearly a revolt about the requirement to go around the first turn before heading up the backstretch to mill EVEN IF YOU GOT OUT LATE. Especially since we are all pitted right at the second turn. But the race committee finally gave in.

After drivers meeting, Butch Kiddy nearly killed us in his Subaru looking for the bar. Trolian told him to turn aroun 'NOW!'... so he did!

J Report

Dylan Runne ran away with both of his heats and clearly will be tough in the final. In the second elim race, first heat, Thomas Allen won barely after a three lap dual between him, Kurtis Nydahl and Joel Kiddy. Joel and Jace Sheffler were DQ'ed for not being on plane at the white flag but quickly reinstated as no rule was broken. In the second heat, Ashley Rucker stole the start and the threesome of Nydahl, Kiddy and Allen chased her for three laps. Rucker barely edged out Nydahl at the finish with Allen in 3rd and Kiddy 4th.

20SSH: First heats just finished: Miskerik waxed everyone in the first elim wih D'Agostino 2d & Perman 3d. In the 2d elim, AJ Jennings had as big a lead as Miskerik in the 1st with Clark 2d and Trolian 3rd. Looks like Perman's got the only chance of denying Dana his money.

AJ was DQ'ed for a chop in turn one of the first heat, 2nd elim.

Only 4 legal boats. Hauenstein won and passed all the jumpers except Hansen (who also jumped). Jeff Connant is gettin chased down by Harrington right now in the second but holds on.
