SO Website Suggestions

I'd be interested in working on a static site that did not require constant updating. Hydroracer is the place for real-time info.

SO used to have a site called StockOutboard.com several years back. It did a good job of outlining membership information, class structure, etc.
And of course you would want some great images and presentation graphics...

I'll help write the text. If you had a section where I could sign in and easily post updates I would do that as well.

Building a site takes talent and and work.

But the hard part is getting content and keeping it relevent. Too many webmeisters burn out from having to do the content and the site. And then people complain to the webmeister about the content. Have somebody do the design, build, and tech maintenance, and have other people provide them with the content. Somebody says, "this oughta be on the website" - have them write/provide it.
