Just found out that there will be capsule training at the national meeting in Seattle, Sat. 30th from 9am to noon (bring equipment plus $20.00). Thanks to all that made this happen. Lets make it worth their while, everyone that in capsules should do this (If their in Seattle). Please post all capsule training times and places here so we can plan. To many people live far from places they train. Again thanks to region 10 for there help!

What do they mean by equipment? Helmet? Does a swimming suit constitute the required equipment?

What we mean by equipment is:

-Bring YOUR OWN helmet, capsule suit, mask, etc.

-If you wear a driving suit when you race your boat, bring it for the capsule training.

-If you wear driving shoes, gloves, etc in the boat, bring them.

The idea here is not only to prove that you can get out of the capsule, but that you can do it with the equipment you currently race with.

Seems pretty clear to me.....

Heard today that IF they do the training it would be Saturday morning, January 30. Thanks to Pat Gleason and J-Dub for there effort

One small update: Cost for Capsule training is $30, not $20 as previously listed. My apologies for the error.
