At drivers meetings Edgar would give a list of issues that would cause a driver to be "DISQUALIFIED': said as only Edgar could say it!!

Clearing a Edgar Rose Nationals inspection was always a cool thing. Edgar would wear his Official Black Striped uniform and it was all business under the inspection tent with the master!!

      See Ya.

Nothing was quite as special as "Stormin' Norm" Brewington's face (redder than a sunburn) and that ole' Air Force helmet he wore (made him look like a giant wasp) when he was smack in the middle of the BSR-20H pack coming up the backstretch at the '76 Hinton Nationals.

The sound of those babies remind me of the sound old WWII fighter planes make going by. To me no motors together as a group sounded better, except the old Alky Loopers.

Far as " disqualified " goes we are racing under the 1988 20H engine specs. I will post them in a few weeks.

Your engine must meet these from the tip of the skeg to the top of the rewind.
The top three places in each class will need wrenches in inspection!!!!

2 and 3 blade props only!!!

All stock rules for A.P.B.A classes will be used far as helmet, life jacket, and kevlar.

All boats must pass Stock A.P.B.A safety inspection before testing and racing a inspection sticker will be put on the boat by the inspector at that time.

Just in case any one does not know this you can run your stock 20H in AMR and AMH they are a legal A-Mod engine in stock form!

The 20H's are competive against the 15ci mod Hot-Rod and will give you some good 2 to 4 heats of race course time during the week!!!

just for note you can also run the old stock 25ss merc and 25 omc engines in stock form in A-mod!!!!

CRANKCASES STILL ARE SALE $150.00 each or $250.00 for the pair!!! this is a good deal for a good unraced ready to go 20H type crankcase. ALL THE MONEY GOES TO THE 20H RACE!!!!!!!

Anyone thinking about coming up to watch or compete in the 20H race!!! Don't think, just do!!! This maybe the last time ever you will get to see and HEAR full fields of 12 fast 20H's coming at you!!!!!! We are expecting to have qualifing heats for both hydro and runabout to get down to the fastest 12 of each. This means a possiable 8 heats total of 20H racing to see!!!!!

In addition to a video, a list of starters and finishers would be great!

Is it safe to assume that the 20h special event didn't happen? Nobody has posted a word about it!
