Do we have any #'s for hotel close to the race site were everyone will be staying?? Will be our first time in Rainbow City, looking forward to getting wet in Al.

Race headquarters for the mod winter nationals

Race headquarters & host hotel will be the Hampton Inn. This Hotel is the closest to the race course and not only that it is the newest hotel in Gadsden, Al. because it is brand new. They have gave us a great deal on the rates. $89.00 a night. When making reservations make sure you tell them you are with APBA mod winter nationals.

Hotel has an outdoor pool, a fitness center, complimentary breakfast, complimentary hi speed internet and 32" tv's with free HBO and ESPN in room.

Also has laundry facillity, guest rooms has refigerators and microwaves and coffee/tea makers.

Racing Fuel

Will there be someplace where we can get 100 octane fuel or something close near the track so I don't have to haul it to Alabama ??

Mod Winter Nationals

Jeff you might want to go ahead and list the stock and j classes that are going to be run at the Mod WN's. That way some people who are going to only one WN will know if they can run both Mod and Stock classes at one place. Since it is the Mod WN we would expect to run all the Mod classes before we run any stock or j classes.

These are the classes that will be run at the MOD WINTER NATIONALS. Since this will be one of the first races of the season this will give everyone a chance to fine tune or tweak thier engines and set up work to get ready for the upcoming season. Testing will April the 15th for this purpose, racing will be be April the 16th thru the 18th. There are a lot of exciting things going on and this is one race you won't want to miss. The lake is H Neely Henry Lake you can use bing to search for greensport marina. It is located just outside of Gadsen, Al off of I-59. I will post some more things in just a few days.

Earl, I've tried Yahoo and Google maps with no luck but was able to get the correct location on Mapquest.com by typing in 1000 Greensport Marina Ashville, AL. You may have to zoom out some to get a better feel on it's location relative to Rainbow City. Take US highway 411 Southwest out of Rainbow City to State Road 24 and turn left. Take it to before it makes a hard right turn but turn left onto Greensport Rd. Let me know if it works for you. Jack
