What about getting legal fuel in town at Jesup. I know it is starting to be an issue.

WOW!! Looks like a lot going on in DMH, DMR and CMH. What is happing in other classes ??

Big Classes

I think the biggest classes in MOD are CMH and DMH, not counting stock crossovers.

I also think FEH will be a big class down there. Most mod folks don't get on the internet for role calls. A lot are busy finding that extra few MPH !

We were thinking of coming down to run AXSH, ASH and 20ssh. However reading the circular it appears we may be lucky if we even get to run once??

Racer Giles or Bob D.!!!!!!! Step in here. What is the tenative schedule for this race? Seems to me if your scheduling classes other than Mod's they should know where they stand in the scheme of things. Does each class only get to run once over the entire weekend?

I plan to be there with ASR, AXSR, and possible AXSH waiting for prop on hydro as of yet its untested if needed to fill class maybe willing to run.
Does anyone plan to have an OMC 15 for sale? looking for one to possibly get my son started it just needs to be able to get boat on water for this year not nessesarily real competitive. Like everyone else money is tight so please keep this in mind we are just getting started so we have to stretch the budget as much as possible

JERRY glad you are going. we will be there too, if you need a prop i have one. might even have a motor to.

Every class will race twice! That is of course weather permitting. MOD classes will have priority. The plan is to be on the water by 10 am Sunday and hopefully that early Sat. We are looking at 44 heats plus elims. No sweat if you all help us by having the equipment in the water and ready. Watch for a schedule to come out soon.

Fuel in Jesup

Gas isn't usually a problem in Jesup, we have never had any of it to test bad. But it's always a good idea to check it the day before the race!

Add us to FEH......need time on new D motor....
Ran/pulled well well in test tank with TJ's test wheel ....emptied hot water tank twice to melt ice and fill.. ......had to spread ashes on ice/ground from pellet stove so I could stand and rope it against the locked mag ...fingers still sting
Anyone have a line on new mag belts?...Had one fail in test tank and down to last one....and it's prob 40+ years old!

The doctor says I can't run at Jesup. I will still plan on bringing the CSH/OSY rig as I think I have a very suitable substitute driver.
