      Bob,

I am glad you posted this as something doesn't add up.

In SST45, I don't remember Saturday's finishing order the way the scorer has turned in. On Saturday, the first heat had two boats colliding off the beach half way to the commitment pin, yet those two boats both averaged a 5th place finish (out of 7 boats) for the day. Those two boats did not finish one lap of any race on Saturday. Note: They did not run the second heat as they were only good for fish reefs at that point.

Also in the first heat after the restart, I remember Jose, Jr. 1st., Blair 2nd, Me 3rd (although Blair let up just before the finish line which allowed me to pass him, but alas 2nd would have been his had he not let up early).

The second heat finished Jose, Jr. 1st, Blair 2nd, Joe A 3rd, Me 4th.

The reason I say something is wrong is I have an average finish of 7th for Saturday according to the scorer's sheet (even though my actual finishes were 3rd and 4th for the two heats) and two boats who never made the commitment pin in the first heat (they didn't finish one lap or run the second heat at all) somehow have an average finish of 5 for Saturday. How does this make sense?

Sunday's scoresheet for the 45's looks correct to me.

      Thanks,

      Steve.

          Lakeland Results

On the 45s, there were three DSQ for cutting the course before the black flag was displayed and that changed the positions and points for the day. We were surprised but this was confirmed in the spreadsheet and with a conversation on Sunday with the scorer.

As to the question of Rob D - I am unaware as I only had the spreadsheets from the scorers.

Does anyone have the contact information for the photography company that was there? I paid for some pictures but left abruptly when my leg fell apart and didn't get to pick the pictures up.
The photographers did an outstanding job!

                Photos at Lakeland

try www.photosbyjoe.net and he is also available at Joe32780 and is listed on page one - you may check the two videos that are shown on page one - see if you recognize yourself.

Joe has posted the Lakeland phots and he is always superb with capturing the action shots.

Very nice comments by your dad!

That is correct Rob. No one notified me of the penalties or DQ, yet we lined up on Sunday in the correct finishing orders (as actually finished) from Saturday.

Just a learning experience, I guess.

The other photographer was M2 photos(M squared) from over in Tampa, he was over by the ramp and then behind the judges stand on Sunday. Gene Engle may know how to contact. Believe last name was Marrinelli(sp?)

Thanks, that is the one. I will try to contact Mr. Engle.
It was not their fault that we didn't get our Cd, she was making it when we had to leave.
