    David,
I take possesion of the lake Friday Morn. at 8am if you need a place to park your trailer, my uncle has a business in Raleigh and I am sure he would not mind you putting your trailer in his parking lot for the day.
Shoot me an email about your arrival time and I will give you an address, and
    directions.

Just a little info on the offsite camping close to the racesite! Rock Ridge Campground has full hookups for around $18.00. Office does not open til 2PM for calls or reservations. Not asking for any money upfront for reservations.
      252-291-4477. Nice people too!

        Power of Prayer!!!

The forcasters have said the weather Saturday afternoon and evening could be wet and stormy.
There has been alot of work to put this event together and we will run as late in the day as possible until Lightning stops us!
You know what warm weather brings----afternoon thunderstorms
I ask that everyone say a prayer for the sun to shine over Buckhorn Lake
        Saturday and Sunday.
        Sunday's weather looks perfect.
Forcasters have been wrong before and it could be good weather for us, but
a small prayer from everyone could go a long way to insure that.

        Thank you for your prayers.

            Rock & Roll!

Weather report? Step outside when ya get to Buckhorn Lake. Lightening = bad. Rain? Hey, the only person who has a chance of staying drying is the one out front. If you can see the marks on the course, GREEN FLAG! At least it will be warm. Cant compalin about warm rain when we'd pay extra for a motel room with a hot tub

                Weather Report

Those things are never right anyway.
The report for New Bern on Friday? Scattered Thunderstorms, lightening, rain..all that stuff.
                Actual weather: Sunny
A wasted day that I could be at the beach
I hope they're wrong about Wilson, too!

                  On the bank

Word from the pits about 2:30 - Big wind, Rain and lightning Sat. It did not sound like it was going to slow the festivities down much.
Anyway, Everyone's boat is really fast up on the bank, right? - Wish I was there...

                    Buckhorn Lake

Only 4 PRO boats in 2 different classes, so I am writing from home. This race site is great!! Locals are supportive. Turnout is a little low...too bad. With great weather expected for Sunday and not that many classes they may get the whole show done in one day. Entries do seem to be bunched-up with elims in CSH.

Race sire is 5 miles from I-95. Great access. I would travel back to this site again soon.

                    Suugestions:

                    1) Run PRO Eastern Divisionals
                    2) If not above, add OSY 400...
                    3) Move date to early May
                    4) BE sure to return here!!

                      .
You should have stuck around and helped out. They are running OSY400.

Read your rule book.CSH and OSY400 are not the same.
                        OSY400 has differant specs,NO weigth,motors are 80,102,
202,302,MOD fuel specs.A 140lb driver can run this class
and not get DQ for under weight. That is why it is the
BIGGEST registered class in the PRO division.

My mistake. i just reacted to the idea of adding classes to scheduals that already too many.
