Carolina-Virginia Racing Association is excited to announce the return of Outboard Racing to beautiful Bluestone Lake near Hinton, West Virginia.
Race dates are June 2-3, 2012.
We will be running all Stock & Mod & J classes plus select PRO classes. We will be using clock starts with the notable exception for OSY-400 which will be a beach start per the new rules. The town of Hinton and its surrounding county are also thrilled about our return and are working very hard behind the scenes to make this race a success. All they need from us are boats boats boats. For those of you who have raced there no words are necessary on the sheer beauty of the place. For those who've never been, you will NOT be disappointed!!! Nestled between three gorgeous mountains, plenty of water and pit room, it is perfect for a race site. I will be posting information from the Hinton folks regarding accomodation specials, things to do, etc.

In addition I would like to add this race will be designated the "Travis Pond Memorial Regatta" with a perpetual plaque given out in Travis' honor to the winner of the class with the largest number of entries from Saturday's racing.

This will be a very coveted honor, with the driver's name added each year from now on!!
