Signs all over the City....The Boat Racers are coming. The site looks fantastic as the CYC Crew finished the cleanup Saturday 8/21. The Pits are just to the left of the Docks in the cleared area. Two paved ramps lead in and out of the water.

LuLu - Yes, we will have the same Announcer that kept the crowd entertained last year. We will also have a second PA system on the North side of the River so we will be looking for volunteers to audition their vocal talents.

Shawn - Help would be appreciated from midday to dusk on Friday. Course cannot be set until Saturday AM, however, PA System, Barrells, Set up of Pontoon boat, buoys etc can all be prepared on Friday.

            Picture # 1 - Closed Course
Picture # 2 - First Bridge of Marathon heading back to the City.

Just got back from Patrol Boat ride through the Marathon Course. Should be fun, eat your wheaties Saturday morning. Despite the drought the water levels are good and we will be running when the water is most effected by the high tide. (Note - Although effected by the tides, this is still fresh water).

The CYC nite picture looks a little too flat for the Marathon.

Site preparation all day Friday. All SSOA members are welcome.
