The plan, as of now, is to bring a 20ssh and a CSH. Pretty sure we're coming but not 100%. I heard there might be other Canadian entries but I don't want to speak for them.

25SSH, BSH, AMOD Hydro.
I am bringing a J class picklefork hydro that I will GIVE, yes I said GIVE FREE OF CHARGE to a young boy or girl of qualifying age or soon to be old enough with an engine or a receipt for an engine who wants to start racing. This is a nice little boat that needs hardware. It is fitted for Brown hardware.

Between Dad and I....
(1) CSH
(1) OSY 400
(1) 20ssh
... and if the epoxy dries, everything gets bolted up and "the winter project" runs and floats possibly (1) 25ssh
..and it's the blackflies not the Moose that you should be concerned with - brings your Ben's 100.

50 year celebration
50 years ago this year was the first race ever held at Kwianis Beach in Standish, Maine.
50 years ago at Kwianis Beach was my very first race in the juinor runabout class at the age of 9. Not many people ever get a chance to race at the same lake where it all started for them 50 years later, so all the way from Austin, Texas ....... I will be there........Can't miss this one.
I want to express my sincere thanks to Bill Giles who is going allow me to run his equipment for this upcoming event. Bill and I both started back in 1959 and have been great friends for all these years. When I first started racing back then, I had great admiration for 3 drivers which I always looked up to and they were Joe Jackson from Maine and Larry Castegneto and Bill Giles from Mass. The picture below was taken at Kwianis Beach in 1959. Back then, "29-W" stood for Westbrook, Westbrook Outboards Racing Assn. Later after this race, ole' Miss Maine change her number to 29-A and I have had the number ever since. Silas..... you are not going to be the only person from Windham, Maine at this race..... Region 1 I'm coming home !!!!!!!!

Silas has a grandfather that was racing out of Westbrook at that time. His name is Paul Charette. I hope Paul will be at the race, last year he was too sick to make it.
Silas is my son and we will be at the race with a CSH and a 25SSH.

Yes, I remember Paul. He used to be down at Eddie's boat house in Westbrook during the early years all the time when my father and I would be there. I hope he can make Standish this year. My father, Doug Parker will also be there along with Bob Parritt and possibly Bob Barnes who all also raced there at Kwianis beach 50 years ago. My father lives over on the River Road on the otherside of Windham Hill from Silas. I grew up in Windham so I'm very familiar with the area. I'm really looking forward to this anniversary milestone for myself and meeting all the new Maine drivers along with many old time friends. In addition, I'll be looking forward to meeting you, Silas and Paul.

OK, now I get it.
The Coo-Coo Clock shop. I have talked to your father.
"Eddie's boat house" Is that on the river next to the big mill building? If so I put my 19 foot boat with a 150hp straight 6 Merc in there once. Just a little big for that river but I was just checking things out.
