Been told even though the race is early this year, all facilities are open for us. Only thing in question is the food stand, and they are working on that, let you know when I know.
Saturday night a band has been hired, same one as last year! It was an awesome party!
Pushboats races for kids and kids at heart will be Sat after regular races with trophies provided by the VanValkenburgs... please let me know if you want to participate, or can make a pushboat or two for kids to use/have. (the sanction says age 18 is the break point... actually it's 15.)
The new 2010 CBF/UIM classes T750 and T850 will be on hand for display on Friday and Saturday.
Tom Heighington Memorial Award:
A new perpetual award will be handed out at the race with keeper award! The Tom Heighington Memorial Award will be awarded to the highest scoring Rookie on Saturday. (Rookie in Canada is defined as 10 or fewer days of racing, please let us know if you fall in this group)
Entry Fee... the sanction lists Canadian $$. The current exchange rate (May 6th) would make the US$ entry fee about (we will accept US$):

$17 J Classes
With racers coming from as far as Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Hampshire, Ohio and often Indiana, some over 17 hours! You know this must be a fun time and nice spot!!!
