Thanks for the response, and best wishes for going forward with the family. I believe you are correct, it is a Flyer. Craig Furnal posted, and advised his father built the boat. I have another thread going on the right sponson tip. Has a little dry rot on the bottom and deck, but the structure is good. Will need materials, and advice. I have a short shaft, but not the lower units you would see on the factory racing units of that time(ie 20H). What do you have for lower unit? My telephone number is 937 271 6671. Are you running on Lake Hopatcong? Where is Jersey do you live? Which exit <G>? I lived in Jersey City, Exit 14C, until 2000, and North Plainfield before that.
