I am interested in getting involved in racing, but I am not quite sure where to begin. I was hoping that you may be able to point me in the right direction. I am currently in the Marine Corps and stationed in North Carolina, but grew up in Michigan watching my Dad race. I am looking on information about where to by a boat (runabout) and engine. I am also searching for races that I can get to in my region, but it seems like there are a lot of associations out there with races that aren't necessarily APBA sanctioned. Any information that you could help with would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide.
