Today's Pro's have evolved to the point that they do not belong racing with stock outboard way to many differences. The small classes can it but the large classes would be to much of a difference for the stock people and they will not be able to accodomiate .
There is a bigger difference in pro today and as Dick Odea at the depue Nationals two years ago said to me--You guy's are light years ahead of what we did in the 80's and should be getting paid to do this.
Pro's are spending so much time and money racing that ya need to get something back just like opc and inboard. I recieved over $2,000.00 this year
This has to happen and can only happen with the USTS I do not need this money for me to attend there races but many dooo. So next year maybe someone traveling as far as me could get enought money to pay ther motel and gas.
