Al, I am new but I agree that something needs to be done. This veering out is what caused Terrys accident this weekend. He was on the outside, right on the edge of the roostertail of the inside boat, and the boat went from lane one on the apex bouy to about lane 15 to 20 at the exit bouy. There was only about 20 feet left till the shore line. I think your idea of training should be done Nationally and be for all boat racing organizations, not just APBA but AOF, TORQ and many I forgot. I believe this should be talked about and done as soon as possible. I don't ever want to see a crash like that again. I have seen a lot of boat racing accidents but this was the worst.
