    thanks Laurie

Note: we had 11 CSH's start on Saturday and that sure was exciting. Big wreck between Curt Birginal and Donny Allen. Both drivers ok but boats are not. During the same heat in a seperate incident John Korbus proved how durable his boats are!

Also, we combined the (3) BSH's on Sat with the (8) 20SSH's. Pretty cool with all 11 boats lined up on the start.

    Bill

PS - the father/son team that purchased the J Merc at Oshkosh we able to get some test time in.

Also, Paul Pittman's daughter got to go for her first boat ride in a JH. They are obviously looking at going racing next year.

And finally, Scott Elmer (one of the students from the Rochelle drving school) raced 20SSH both days.

I talked to Kip and Johnny Evans and they said we might have two races at Pleasant Prairie next year. One on Memorial Day Weekend, and then another, which the date is yet unknown for.
I could be wrong, but that's the way I understood it anyway.

Thanks to everyone that helped in the Judges Stand as well as the Race Committee.
Always great to see new faces as well as the ones that help every race!

A special thanks to Darlene Warnock - your advice and help was very appreciated at the last two races!

It takes many volunteers to put on a race. Thanks to all of the Announcers, Flaggers, Video and Patrol Boat Drivers. This is probably one of the few sports where you volunteer more time than you actually spend participating in. We could not put on a race without everyone's help. THANK YOU!!

See everyone at the Banquet next month.

Do you know how tempting it was to just push him over on Bill when we were standing there and have both of them go in.??????

                Congrats Kev!!!!
