  • Gary Burdick - Thank You!

    With Sadness,

I was notified late today of the passing of Gary Burdick.
Our greatest sympathy to the Burdick Family.

Gary came to boat racing to re-energize family activities with his family while running a very active self made business.

Gary held many positions within Badger State Outboard Assn including Vice Commodore.

Not only was he a strong driver and racer but a great leader within the club.
But his family leadership goes without question in his teachings of sportsmanship and his son to Championship form.

We thank you Gary! Say Hi to our friends and Family in the Sky!

Peace be with you and the Burdick Family.

    The Warnock Racing Family!

              Peace be with you Gary!

Our boat racing family has lost one of the good guys. I knew him to be a very good, hard racer and his skills have filtered down to Ryan, who shares those same attributes. It goes without saying that things just won't be the same at the races/family get-togethers anymore.

                      Goodbye, Gary Burdick

My deepest condolences to the Burdick family. Gary was a great leader in Region 7 boat racing and a great driver. In the last few years, he fought his hardest competition: the race for his health.

It is my greatest hope for the Burdicks that they can do after this last race of Gary's as we usually do following a good boat race: reminisce, laugh, share a beer, and remember the fun we have all had together as a family.

I am so sorry for your loss.

                          Debbie, Ryan and Sarah,

We are very sorry to hear that Gary has passed. We all know how hard he fought his battle over the last few years and it was great to see you enjoying each other's time at the races and contending for the CSH/CSR high point titles. I know he really was proud! Keep these memories and all the others from you time together with you in your time of healing and know that we are thinking of you.

I will never forget last year in Constantine when Gary came and sat with me in Team Red's trailer and the nice conversation we shared. What a wonderful man, father, husband, and inspiration to us all! My heart is breaking for the Burdick Family. You will be truly missed Gary! Race In Peace! I am a better person for having known you!
