Got your trailer packed for another Michigan Hydroplane Racing Association event at Grass Lake soon? Please respond with your class and boats so we can get an online roll call coming. Don't forget, Saturday will be the Central Divisional, and there is a marathon, so great time to tune that rig before Top O next month!
We will be having a Racer School, so as always, if you arrive early on Friday and volunteer I guarantee you will be getting some extra MOJO and appreciation as well as looking at you next competitor's first experience on the water!

Be sure to check out the Grass Lake Traffic Jam'In on Friday night and Saturday (day and evening)! This is the same street fair that originated with the Nationals back in '09. The Village has traditionally held the end of July/beginning of August date as to correspond with the Nationals - this year (and from here on out) it will always fall on the same weekend as an MHRA race!
Beer tent and live entertainment on Saturday night - classic car show and street vendors on Saturday, 5K run on Friday evening.

The Grass Lake Traffic Jam'In would also like to invite any classic outboards to participate in their classic car show.
It is from 3PM-7PM on Saturday July 12th - you don't have to race in the Divisionals in order to participate!
As there are plans to have full classic outboard on the sanction in the Fall this would be a good opportunity to gauge participation and promote the Wild One's race.

There is NO FUEL OF THE DAY FOR DIVISIONAL RACING (Saturday). You must have legal fuel in order to pass inspection! (This includes Marathon)
If you buy traditional pump gas, you will be taking your chances on passing - no guarantees!
There is the Jackson County Airport who we have bought fuel from in the past. Would have to call to inquire what they have available and hours: 517 788 4225. Location:3606 Wildwood Ave, Jackson, MI 49202

There will be fuel of the day for NON-DIVISIONAL racing. This includes 3 in 2 racing and non-divisional racing on Sunday. The fuel of the day station will be the Marathon station in downtown G.L. for NON-DIVISIONAL racing.
