I have a hydro that has no HIN, title or previous registration, and I am curious how boats like this are used in Ohio. Is there a way out of having that typical 8 digit boat registration number somewhere on the bow? Any exemptions?
If you have a bill of sale or receipt from when you purchased it and tell them that it was a racing boat that was never registered due to use of the craft you should be able to get it registered as a home made boat with the receipt and bill of sale.
