Pat, got some pictures? I'd like to see it.

By the way, have any results been posted from Cullaby yet?

        Fire Wood

This was my boat! But now its fire wood for next years Newberg bon fire!
I wasn't hurt, just lookin for a new boat though. What happened was i went into the first turn and the boat just fell apart! Luckly the steering was still attached and saved the motor and prop from going to the bottom of the lake. Besides that mishap it was still a good weekend of racing.

It wasn't that bad - you "drove" it back to the pits

ps - Pictures are up on Webshots.

                Y'all

Y'all stress test boats in a funny way. Personally, I pick them up and shake them prior to decking them

I seen a B&H Hydro do that once, came back in three large pieces, I think it was at a Franklin PA race a number of years ago.

Note to self, maybe an open trailer is not all bad..........

This looked like the Runne boat that Bill Walker had. If its the one, its thrown out everyone I have ever seen drive it. It WAS fast but just a wee little twitchy.

Same boat. We never had twitchy problems with it at all. The only other time the driver had been out of it was at Divisionals last year when it was decided to make him the meat in a 3-boat sandwich going into the second turn. It actually handled well for us.

I forgot to mention it then...

Kyle, I definately know how ya feel being towed in with the boat. Dayton, OH last year I blew the bottom out of my ASR on that silly 2nd course which was so far away I was only able to drive it half way back to the pits... I got towed with the boat the rest of the way.

And here's not even enough left for you to take the boat for a last ride around the parking lot:

                            There will be a RIDE!

Pat, that stering column in the middle of the boat is still attached. All i have to do is hold on real TIGHT!

                              CSR blues......

I am glad my CSR did not take a serious beatin' after my "little blowover" at the end of the back stretch! Add some duct tape to patch the holes and go back out. Although, I had one hell of a time trying to keep the boat from blowing over again since I did not have a windsheild left.......oh well, congrats Kyle!
