What a great day!

Well 40 degrees and pouring NW rain didn't stop folks from coming out today to Kenmore Washington to remember the Samammaish slough races. A 2 hour lecture by Steve Greaves included dialog with past competitors and winners such as: Penny and Howard Anderson, Dave Culley, John Larid, Lee Sutter, Chip Hananur, Art Losvar, Tom O'Neil, and many others. I estimate about 120 folks were in that room for standing room only. Thanks to go Amberly Culley for making this happen. I think it was a great success and a great oportunity for Seattle Outboard Association to get out into the community and promote!

Sure was neat listening to all the old war stories. Would be a fun race to have one more time! Here's some pics!

That is a very impressive turnout Great Job!! Thanks for sharing the pictures as well. Howard, Penny and Steve look GREAT. In fact Howard looks like he could still get in a boat and kick butt!!!
