I sure hope we figure out how to get the J's on the schedule at the Fall Sammamish race! They could race from 9a-12a and be the prime-time show!

Outboards at Inboard Events
Guedo (and others),
There's actually 3 events that were mentioned as inboard events in R10 with the potential for adding "selected outboard classes": Soap Lake, WA June 15-16; Burley ID June 23-24; and the Fall Sammamish race, Sept 28-29.
Since it appears that a number of our new J drivers are "second generation" racers whose families come from the inboards, I would expect at the very least to see some or all of the J classes to be added.
And when Mike Johnson let the cat out of the bag about a potential new CORA race at Haag Lake (near Forest Grove OR) for mid April, a bunch of the inboard guys got all excited and asked about "potential slected inboard classes". Mike did not rule this out.

Region 10/SOA
While other regions and clubs in the country are losing race sites....we are adding them. How cool is that! One little thing a lot of people missed in the last propellor was a little blurb stating that SOA hosted the most races of any single club in the country. And...if we can pull it off, possibly Mossyrock will be back on for 2013, giving us 7 race sites. Very cool. Dave

Another cool thing about the schedule...
A lot of very close to home races, and only 1 race on the east side of the mountains. When we first started racing with SOA we had as many as 3 races over there (Scootney, Moses and Bridgeport), and though they are all great places to race in their own right, the financial drubbing SOA always took on those races almost killed the club. Looking at this year's schedule I see a lot of races with the potential to make a little money, which is awesome for our long term viablility.Moby Grape Racing
